Mission Statement

Frenchs Forest Primary School has the vision to be a fully sustainable GREEN school, leading the way in promoting sustainability in schools and the local community.

Our aim is to transform the school's spacious natural setting into a learnscape that can be utilised by all students for curriculum based activities. Our goal is to instil ownership of these beautiful grounds, giving our students first-hand knowledge of what it means to be responsible for the world they live in and become leaders in contributing to a Greener, Peaceful Global Community (Thinking Globally, Acting Locally).

The school community of Frenchs Forest embraces environmental practices and takes responsibility for maintaining these practices at school and at home. By working as a team of Teachers, Parents, Students, in-school and local community groups, we can create a healthy, happy and sustainable environment for everyone.

The Green Team's proposal incorporates many projects over a series of stages. With the knowledge that this will be an ongoing part of the Frenchs Forest culture all efforts will be made to ensure each stage and step has quality control and can be adequately maintained. This will be an asset to our school and will have a wonderful impact on our school's learning environment.
