French Forest Public School turned 90 in 2006. Many events were held during the year to celebrate this wonderful achievement. These events included:

• FFPS through the Decades - a concert presented by the whole school showcasing special events that have happened over time since the beginning of FFPS

• A school community sleep out on the oval

• A social gathering of past and present families and staff at The Emerald Ball

• Year 6 renovating the amphitheatre garden. These efforts were celebrated during the opening of The Sapphire Garden Cocktail Party
